(More customer reviews)I was very happy to find that I could buy the gear and grease together as a package. It took about an hour to do the part swap and my opener is working like new again. This repair is not for the timid as it takes a bit of work to get the old gear off the shaft, but if you're mechanically inclined, it is not too big a deal. Be careful as the old worn gear can be very sharp!
